I already know what skill I need to figure out. I need to figure out how to use the damn rear bag and I need to figure out how to use the cheek rest. Nothing will get better with my shooting and comfort until those 2 things get fixed. That will take time on the rifle and I only get out 1x per week for 1 hour. I only just started shooting rifles this year after 40 years, I'm 54 now. Hemophilia is a hell of a disease and I am at the mercy of my body.

Something on wind calls that was kind of key for me. Someone showed me the math on a constant crosswind. Basically that the majority of point of impact error would accrue in the first part of bullet flight. So I make a larger shift on wend call based on what I see in the grass in front of me than the grass by the target. Lead me to our perform a few people I’ve shot with on windless days when it’s windy.

Good stuff bro !!
I shoot 22lr competitions and most of what you went over applies to me. Wind is my major enemy,1 1/2 years in and I still struggle………..at 64 I’m not not setting records yet,but I’m having the time of my life !!!
Keep up the good work and rock on bro.

I appreciate the helpful tips being a newcomer to PRS. There seem to be a lot of great folks I’ve run into so far. I know there will always be “that guy” that flaunts his skills and equipment but it’s good to see this.

I set the magnification dial lever so that it's straight ahead and use that as an aiming aide to find the target(s). Use the lever and the center/top of the turret to get the rifle straight
