He grew up in a violent and contested period of North Shore, Oahu surfing history and made a name for himself charging maxing Pipeline, Cloudbreak, Waimea, Mavericks and elsewhere.
He has won Wave of the Winter, come 3rd at the 2023, Eddie Aikau Invitational, and won a Spearfishing World Cup in Mexico in 2008.
