6:09  I love the label on Himalayan pink salt. It's supposedly over a million years old, and can you believe that it even has a best when used by...
I'm soo glad they decided to pick it at the peak of its freshness...

Throw a slice of bread in with your sugar, it will not solidify as easily. Put a few grains of white rice in with your salt...it does the same.

Sometimes, the contents outlast the packaging

White rice + dried legumes = shelf-stable complete protein without meat

The shade in this video is hilarious … my favorite is being called a world class bobble head 😂😂

I am asian and my family came from rice farmers. We even have like a storehouse for rice that can last for years until everything is sold but the issue with white rice is it will taste stale, IDK others but I can taste old rice, also, old rice is sold super cheap. Also the rice weevils, so the rice needs to be stocked on something that rice weevils can't get in to such as airlock tupperwares.

Salt and sugar are used to cure meat when smoking the meat. People don't think about that. 😕 I salt cured a deer hind quarter. I ate on it until I got tired of eating deer. I kept it for at least six months covered up on the counter.

😂 I AM A MORNING PERSON!! NO caffeine needed!!  NO alarm needed!!
But I'm also asleep by 9pm.

Insect eggs develop into weevils, THAT is why the date. Adult weevils in storage facilities can chew through the bags or maybe were packed in at the processing plant. Flour, cereal products, many food 'kits'all have the potential to turn your cabinets into a carnival of creepy crawlies when their infestation becomes
apparent

For a long time I avoided brushing my teeth with toothpaste. I did not like the pain involved. It doesn't hurt to wash my hair so it should not hurt to brush my teeth. Today I found a better toothpaste that doesn't hurt.

Thank you for this video.  I know it took you a tremendous amount of time and I appreciate it.

You are HILARIOUS ‼️ So glad I found your channel!
Thanks🎉

😂 Companies put dates on bottles of things like water, vinegar, and alcohol, not because they will expire, but because the plastic bottle will deteriorate and release micro plastics.

45:  I've not held onto rice for 30 years, but more like 2 years, and it tasted like it was supposed to.  I didn't even know there was an expiration.  I've never paid attention to it.

the Salt, will outlast the package, no matter what package it came in.
if it gets wet, just wait for it try dry and it's good as new!

Sugar is not the enemy of tooth decay, though.

The expiration date is a signal to hurry up and use it. Basically, a suggestion.

03:45 You got the bottled water one wrong. The expiration date is ABSOLUTELY LEGITIMATE because it's based on the shelf life of the bottle, not the water. Because plastic is a petroleum by-product, the plastic bottle's polymer chains begin to degrade after the expiration date and will leach particulate impurities into the water. Drink the oldest water you've bought first.

The expiration date is for the merchant to remove from their shelf not necessarily that the product is spoiled

It’s really funny that the loud music is to get you to shop faster. I go in a store with loud music, i grab exactly what I went there for, and get out asap. I can’t stand loud music, especially when it’s music I don’t even like.
