Jesus, the girl didn't even say thanks.  Yeah, those aren't fans.

I've worked security for Deftones on three separate occasions... Chino is a perfectly even-tempered guy, very quiet and polite, never made a single unreasonable request of the security or production teams. I'd almost say that he seemed eager to stay out of our way and let everyone go about their business, which is not something I could say about all of the talent we ever worked with.

If Chino's fed up with you, it's because you earned it.

Chino knows a scalper from a true fan.

“Can you hit these last 2 for the road?” ….. the nerve lmao

It's embarrassing actually, that people ruin it for people who actually will keep it for them

Chino if you read this. God bless you man! Thank you for all the years of great music!

Chino has always been super chill and down to earth, never asked him for an autograph or a picture. I enjoy chatting with musicians about random bs, way more memorable than some autograph.

I agree it’s extremely rude to autograph farm these artists.

Dimebag signed a guitar strap for me at the Damage Plan album release party at The Clubhouse. It says "happy fuckin birthday" with his autograph and i wouldn't sell that shit for anything! i did a shot with Dime and that was one if the coolest nights in my life. No way im letting that souvenir go.
Edit: when Dime learned it was my b-day he insisted on doing the shot. Getcha pull!!!!

Met Chino years and years ago at a Vans Warped tour, and dude was cool as the backside of the pillow. Even cracked a beer with me and my homie.

Totally respect these artists for standing up for themselves. The "fans" sounded quite entitled.

'Hey Chino would you mind signing this?..and this..and this...and this, and this, and this?...I appreciate it'...

Asking a guy to sign your whole collection  is crazy

This whole autograph thing is absolutely beyond me. When I get the chance to meet one of my heroes I'm happy if I can exchange a few words and tell them how much their music means to me. That stays with me forever.

Whenever I've asked a singer, band, comedian, athlete to sign something I've requested they personalize it to me, that way they know I'm not going to turn around and sell it. I've never been denied an autograph and I've never sold an autograph so I appreciate anyone who takes time to sign something.

I'd much rather have a picture with the artist. That's worth way more than an autograph.

I have a signed Around the Fur CD signed by all the members of Deftones when they came thru the record store back when they were in CT recording music for the unreleased album ages ago. It’s such an incredible experience meeting them all back when Chi was still alive and well. I was working as a store manager at a music store and instead of playing the CD that the company wanted us to play…I was playing Around the Fur when the whole band walked in. They were stoked to hear their album playing as they walked in. Blew my goddamn mind…and I still have that signed CD to cherish that moment of my life. I say all this because I doubt an eBay seller would ever understand what a moment like that feels like…and it sucks that they’re sorta taking that away from the true fans.

Honestly fuck I’d be over it aswell… Dudes been doing this shit for 30 years… Leave the dude alone

just saw deftones 2 weeks ago and they killed it
