🔧 In this video, we clean and rebuild the carburetors on a Yamaha 40HP 2-stroke outboard using the proper procedures and specifications.
A carburetor rebuild involves much more than replacing gaskets. Small passages, jets, floats, needles, and adjustment settings can all affect how your outboard runs.

Step one: Fill it with warm water
Step two: Put your part in sealed container with simple green (or whatever solvant)
Step three: Put the sealed container into the water.
Step Four: Start the ultra sonic cleaner.
Its an easy way to save some money and time :)
As engine runs and warms up, power supplied to prime start warms wax pellet inside, it expands and pushes needle out to close enrichment passage.
