She is Tyne Daly. A few years after this, she and Sharon Gless had their own cop show, "Cagney & Lacey". Tyne was also in 2 or 3 episodes of, "Columbo", a very intelligent series you should also get into! Her dad is the actor, James Daly.

Albert Popwell was the actor who played “Big Ed” Mustapha in “The Enforcer.” Coby, you did well in recognizing him as one of the bank robbers in “Dirty Harry"; he was the man to whom Eastwood first delivers the iconic line, “Do I feel lucky?” But Popwell was in “Magnum Force,” as well. In that film, he played the murderous pimp who was, in turn, murdered by the rogue cops. Popwell appeared in multiple “Dirty Harry” films, but always playing a different character.

'I'm just trying to find out if anybody in this room knows what the hell law is being broken, besides cruelty to animals.' Classic Harry 🤣

Harry's heavyset partner is Jon Mitchum and the brother of legend Robert Mitchum.

Clint was very loyal to his fellow actors, especially when he started directing. Many of the same actors appeared in many of his films.

Nothing like seeing Coby laugh and cheer as someone gets wasted by a magnum. 😅

Being Harry's partner is usually the equivalent of being a Red Shirt on Star Trek.

For the record Coby, there's nothing wrong with saying Dirty Harry is your superhero.

When Moore died, that really hit me, as I thought she would end up being the best partner Harry ever had. Her death scene was worthy of an Oscar.

"Eat at Luigi's" not "Hey Luigi's". He was making a joke that an advertisement was written on the brain. It was a fairly common trope at the time for an advertisement somewhere to be that.

That opening scene... cut-off jean shorts... T-shirt... long blonde hair... that's my Kryptonite.

The ultimate respect from Harry Callahan. He stood guard over Moore's body. A sad but poignant un spoken action from "Dirty Harry". I was 16 when I first saw this movie. Unforgettable. So glad you enjoyed it Coby.

"To personnel? That's for assholes!"
No one I've met from such outfits has ever countered Harry's opinion.

Tyne Daly, who play's Harry's partner, would go on to become famous in the show "Cagney and Lacey" where she played one half of a pair of female detectives, it was a very popular show in the 80's.

Tyne Daly’s character of Mary Beth Lacey on the classic series Cagney and Lacey kind of feels like what a spiritual evolution of her Inspector Kate Moore character would’ve been had the character survived.

My parents took my sister to see this film back in 1976. She's was just old enough to see it,. My brother and I were not. When they came back from seeing it my sister was so affected. I asked my mom what happened and she just said my sister took Inspector Moore's death really hard. It was like she had lost a close friend or relative. I always tear up when watching this Eastwood film . My sister was inspired by Tyne Daly's Inspector Moore and even though she never became a cop she did join the police explorers in our local city. Here's thinking of you , Diana, and thank you Coby for a great reaction.

Eastwood likes working with a certain troop of actors. You will see them over and over.

Albert Popwell (Big Ed Mustafa) also appeared in Magnum Force. He was the pimp in the pink Caddilac. He's in every Dirty Harry except the last one, a different character each time.
