That's what stopped me from eating out, all these Apps. Even at McDonald's staff telling you that you have to use the app or the kiosk in order to place an order. I walked right out and haven't been back. That just like self check outs, if I have to check myself out and bag my own groceries I should get a major discount.
The habit is the part that's hard to undo. Once people find out they can go a month without it, cutting prices again doesn't bring them back — by then they've replaced you with something else.
I went to Mc Donald's in Bangkok which I have been to many times, now they No Longer Accept CASH - So I decided that I No Longer Accept Mc Donald's - and got a Fantastic Thai meal instead. 😂
I stopped eating at McDonald's when they quit serving food and started serving lab experiments. The mom and pop up the road has burgers made out of real beef and French fries made out of real potatoes. Their "deluxe" combo is also about $4 cheaper than the plain McDonald's cheeseburger combo.
They never tell you that the largest spike in prices was during the 4 years Biden had his arthritis ridden claws into American economics. As for McDonald's, I always thought it was disgusting.
In addition to the higher prices, smaller portions and lower quality food, I personally don't trust the low-quality workers and/or the low-quality customers increases my risk of getting attacked/robbed/stabbed/shot. That's why I haven't eaten in a fast food place in 10 years. Things have all changed for the worse.
