I'm 44 years old and I'm fortunate to have seen Bruce live 32 times and I can say there is absolutely nothing like a Bruce show. Some of the happiest, most joyful and uplifting moments of my life have been in those stadiums and arenas. It's a truly special thing in this world.

Couple of things: The woman in front at the beginning, where Bruce reaches down and they hold hands...that's the late, great Obie, a friend from the earliest days whom the media sometimes called Bruce's first fan. He held the front two seats of every show for her, like every show, for decades. If she didn't use them, fans from the nosebleeds got quite the upgrade! And, bonus, the placards that the fans in the upper seats hold up at the end of the video spell Our Love Is Real. I've always assumed it was the answer to the request of BTR: "I wanna know if love is wild, I wanna know if love is real."

I don't know how anyone can listen to that intro from Bruce and not see he gets it.

This Land Is Your Land - They don't teach you the verses about struggle in grade school. They absolutely should.

Is called the Detroit Medley is because when he went to play in Detroit he picked the songs of some of his favorite Detroit Artists.

Woody Guthrie is one of the great folk singer/songwriters of the 20th Century. He is the father of Arlo Guthrie ("Alice's Restaurant," a very funny anti-Vietnam War protest song) and the musical/spiritual father of folk singers like Bob Dylan, Peter, Paul and Mary, Joan Baez... "This Land is Your Land" was written in 1940 as a "socialist protest song" in response to "God Bless America."

It is the Detroit Medley because they are all songs by Mitch Rider & the Detroit Wheels.

The book about Woody Guthrie is a good read, his life was tragic by circumstances out of his control and at times by his own choices.

There is a version of TLIYL where the band kicks in half way through which is also very beautiful.

DM always gets you up and dancing, it is so infectious and Bruce has morphed these songs together so well. Have seen this live a couple of times, it is a workout.

DBD is how he finished a show in Sydney. He started out on the pump organ just him. Once he had set it to loop he just walked around singing and then left the stage with just the pump organ playing all alone. Epic finish to a show. This clip shows how you may go to a show alone but walk out with new friends, it is an amazing environment for those three or more hours.

It’s the Detroit Medley because they are all Motown songs, and Detroit was the home of Motown.

You should check out Bruce singing Chimes of Freedom in Berlin 1988. I always loved this live version and I never thought I would get to experience him singing it live but I did this year in Berlin and it was just incredible.
