I had an R Series Brolly System for a couple of years as my first shelter and I DETESTED putting it up. Screwing in the poles and pegging it out was a right pain. This looks miles better, although, I will stick with my Frontier 2 x now!
Got one myself. Great brolly for winter fishing. Pros: 1) Well made from high grade materials 2) sizing is perfect 3) super sturdy in high winds Cons: 1) Price and weight are in middle range bivvies offering more space/height. 2) Front fibreglass tension poles are a bit of a pain to set up 3) Ventilation could be better designed so able to operate when raining. Its a shame they've not done a camo version, it would look the nuts. Would highly recommend getting the extention as it comes with a groundsheet and adds incredible versatility to the system. The inner capsule, as is nearly all inner capsules time consuming but straightforward to fit and is well worth the effoet if your out in freezing conditions for a few days, it really does keep the brolly toasty and reduce condensation. Cheers for the video buddy 👍 Tight lines 🙏
After my Ultra 60 Brolly was replaced by Dealer three times, I ended up getting the Retreat. When I tried to set it up for the very first time, the plastic cap on the back flew off and was already broken. I dont like that you have to attach the pole under the canopy, otherwise the roof will sag. I don't have Fox Brolly anymore 😂😂😂
I had one of these i found the peak pole was abit of a pain and it leaked on the seam above the door had to send it back. I ended up replaceing it with a fox voyager bivvy witch has been an awesome bit of kit
I've got one of these and replaced it with an rs150. Wish id have got the rs first off. The peak poles are a pain. All the seem plastic has peeled off. Had to return it after 2 weeks as the top plastic on the outside snapped off. The thread for the main pole shredded too.
