It would be even more hilarious if they don't discover who was Darth Sidious and keep searching him for years.

Grievous being scared of being killed by man who he killed is fcking funny

I will say that Palpatine being spaced by an annoyed Grievous due to the latter not knowing the former was his boss is actually the single most hilariously ironic and fitting death for the old bastard. All that planning undone because he arrogantly believed that Grievous would follow his orders to the letter, and so he dies unexpectedly and anticlimactically.

(Maul gives testimony on who Darth Sidious is)

Anakin:  What?!

palpatine dying

meanwhile on mandalor maul is just GIDDY

Dooku in Chat afterwards: "GG!"

Anakin: "You can't win, Grevious! I have the high ground!". General Grevious: "I HATE YOU!".

Palpatine secretly being Darth Sidious is like the Sith version of Clark Kent being Superman

Greivous : In the name of the  Confederacy of Independent Systems, you're under arrest, Sidious.

Sidious : Are you threatening me, Droid General?

Grievous : The separatist council will decide your fate.

Sidious: I AM the separatist!

Grievous : Not yet.

Sidious : It's treason, then...

This was so good. I love how Grievous unintentionally gaslit himself about Sidious being furious at him for killing Palpatine. I also like how the Jedi were able to look for Grievous without trying to juggle tracking Sidious and Grievous at the same time.

Palpatine: "Now Grievous, after Anakin kills Dooku, you "capture" us. Then we'll manage to escape and you'll run away. Got it?

Grievous, looking at his phone: "Hmm? Oh yeah, sure, whatever you say, Sheev."

"I'm not afraid of you. You wouldn't dare harm the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. Whatever would your MASTER say?"
😂

I love grievous' paranoia. Its for sure not like sidious is dead or something

Griveous: THE REPUBLIC WILL FALL

The Republic: Thank you for kill Palpatine.

Griveous: . . .You're welcome?

Grievious: HAHAHA! I have killed your dear Chancellor, what now Jedi scum?
Obi-Wan:...I felt a great uplift in the Force, as if a horrible voice suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly went quiet.
Anakin: Now that you mention it, I feel quite relieved as well.

Jedi after knowledge of palpatine's sith identity : thank you , grievous

I like your description of Palpatine's thoughts as he saw that Griveous did not follow Darth Sidious plans.

"Where is Darth Sideos!"
Darth Sideos: Sound of being dead

Palpatine dying in space? Oh wait till he sees The Last Jedi

I like to imagine when Palpatine is flung into space a passing Vulture Droid detects his body as debris and either blasts it to pieces or smacks right into it, tearing the body apart as if he were trash.
