Wait but all of the categories you wanna score high in except for danger and possibly isolation? So surely those should have been swapped for “connection” and “safety” so that you can score them in the same regard

I can only imagine what Detroit is like post war

I don’t think Boston should have gotten a 7 for resources, it has thinks like the bomb storage in the glowing sea, Lorenzo, the institute, Pam, a cryo vault, large military bases and equipment scattered throughout and so much more there is so much left over and being so close to the pitts railway would help them spread west

Never disrespect Dave.

Shame you didn't go into the Chicago area overseen by the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel, though considering how back-and-forth Bethesda has been about Fallout Tactics' canonicity, I guess it's understandable.

It should also be noted that, while the Appalachia segment is spot on, it's only accurate for when Fallout 76 takes place: 25-26 years after the Great War. So, whether the state of affairs in Appalachia have changed for better or worse, or stayed mostly the same is a near-total unknown by the 2290's, the most recent point in the timeline.

Currently, we have only two VERY questionably canonical mentions of the region by the late 2280's - Fallout 4 - neither of which really gives us an idea of Appalachia's more recent history or current status:

The Fallout 4 Creation Club item Wasteland Mercenaries allows the Sole Survivor to travel to GNR in the Capital Wasteland in response to a plea for help from a mercenary faction occupying it. Among these (mostly deceased) mercs was a Super Mutant named "Scratch" who's holotape entries state he originally came from "Apple Asia", though how long ago he left is unknown. Considering Super Mutants can live far longer than humans, it's up in the air.

The other is the FO4 creation Tale of the Beast Hunter, which boasts a series of holotapes chronicling the life of a former NCR Ranger who struck out East after the First Battle for Hoover Dam. At one point he mentions having to decide whether to continue his trek into either the Capital Wasteland, Appalachia or the Commonwealth, saying he had heard rumors of Appalachia being contested over by rival tribes accessing the region's nuke sites.

How old or reliable these rumors are is similarly unclear.

The score total doesn't make any sense since for some of the individual scoring you want them low and some others high. So having a lower total because of danger and isolation being low is stupid.

7:45 the dead man moved

far harbour and point lookout looks like somewhere out of silent hill. and the pitt is just straight from hell.

Kinda cool to hear the city you live in get talked about

Merry Christmas 🎄

The use of ai 😔😔🥀

Next fallout best be in the Midwest or Texas or something and also come out before our great war

The map at 5:10 has false content. Shady Sands is far too north.

Forget to mention project purity and the BOS governing the Capital wasteland

Isnt shady sands gone though ? It got nuked

I mean the Capitol Wasteland does have connections to the Commonwealth too....
