The bottom end of Worksop town centre on a Wednesday market day. What used to be the busiest, most bustling day of the week for our high street now feels more like a ghost town. Bassetlaw District Council needs to answer for how our local economy is being managed.

From Carlton Road station down through the heart of the high street and into the Priory Centre, we take an honest look at the empty units, the major brand closures, and the local businesses fighting to stay open.

What are your thoughts on the state of the Wednesday market nowadays? Has it gone past the point of recovery? Drop a comment below! πŸ‘‡

Welcome to the channel. I have been vlogging across Sheffield city centre, South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, and North East Derbyshire since the July 2020 lockdown. From time to time, I also venture further afield, including trips to London.

This channel serves as a living archive celebrating our lovely traditional villages, changing landscapes, and rich local history.

But it is also a platform for activism. I am here to tell it exactly like it isβ€”exposing the creeping nanny state, terrible council road planning, tracking-destroying roadworks, and the destruction of our heritage.

Love me or hate me, I won't stop highlighting the truth. Subscribe to help document, celebrate, and protect our local communities!
