He said when he came back to wwe it’s about the money and I never thought he was lying

Punk’s feud with Drew is easily the best thing he’s done since returning to the company

This is Coporate Man Punk the minute he apologized to wrestle in Saudi Cm Punk died that day

MJF/Punk feud was some of Punk's best work in his career. I miss that version of CM Punk.

No one feels special anymore.

That Mjf and Cm Punk feud 3 years ago had some insane foreshadowing to where both of their careers are at right now in hindsight.

"In 2005 i left professional wrestling now in 2021 i return to professional wrestling"
Then in 2023 he says he "return home"  simply not feel real, Cm Punk is just doing what he is told to do because he wants to finish his career making the most money as possible.

The Bald fraud promo is the closest thing I glimpse to the old punk

i love punk but i’ve been watching some of his aew run recently and he feels so much more real and motivated. recently it feels repetitive

Money silences almost all

To me CM Punk died when he returned to WWE. The main thing of Punk always was that he was genuine above all, beyond being a character the charm was that it was really him. After all the drama when he left and the "I'm back to wrestling" promo in AEW, coming back to WWE only felt like he sold out.

I knew that the real Punk was gone when he did that insanely cringe apology in Saudi

CM PUNK ❌

CM MERCH ✅

He's older, wiser, with less tolerance for drama and bullshit. He's not interested in stirring up trouble anymore. He knows that his body has a shelf life, and he's looking to set aside a nice nest egg for him and his missus. Like he said, he's not there to make friends. He's there to make money.

i feel like punk is just taking a back seat, he seems happier in current wwe. i feel the reason he was such a rebel in vince's wwe/aew was cause he had a chip on his shoulder during those runs but he might be satisfied now in present day. still love punk regardless hes always been my goat

It was alway the natural evolution, he wanted to be in Cenas spot. Being corporate safe is needed

Deonte I… kinda agree, I feel like punk when he came back was great for like- a few months, and then he just kinda felt like a generic guy after a while. Something’s missing with cm punk lately, idk if it’s cause he isn’t a heel so he doesn’t have as much edge but he kinda feels like 2012 john cena possesed him and he just feels repetitive

Finally someone WITH BALLS that says it like it is.

The only thing that felt like it dragged was the Rollins stuff tbh. He's still my guy.

I can already see a 2k story line where our created superstar confronts punk on his sudden switch up in personalities going from a renegade to just another corporate champion
