For the life of me, I can’t figure out why you aren’t seeing a lawyer and getting a paternity action going. Child support will provide you and your daughter with a safe place to live. And if New York is like California, the high wage earner will pay for your attorney. Worth checking out?
I must be the only one who is mesmerized by the art behind you. I keep wanting the one on the right to be flipped and switched with the one on the left. 🤦🏻♀️
I watch those two ladies as well. Sometimes though you need to get out of your comfort zone to an area with expertise, bc in watching these couple u get to expand your knowledge and take away tidbits that u can implement in your own life. Even though 80 percent of his couples are high earners, I appreciate it bc it shows me that every one struggles at every salary. Remit has taught me that it’s important to invest, save and pay debt off at the same time. It’s comfortable to follow people that share your struggle, it’s better to see how u can do better. That why I love watching Remit every Tuesday at 6 am EST time.
That sounds like an exhausting 3 days with barely any sleep! You definitely have earned every penny. Looking forward to seeing the apartment tomorrow! 😀
I love Ramit Sethi! I bought his book awhile back and found it so helpful. I love that you are looking for apartments now. You never know how doors can open when you are not expecting it!
I love Ramit’s videos too! And he tells it how it is, doesn’t sugar coat it and it’s what some people really need to hear. I’m so looking forward to the day you can move out Nicole, the whole youtube family will be celebrating right along with you 🎉
I’m stuck living with my ex too! We own a place together and he refuses to sell because the market sucks. Even though the mortgage is in my name because he can’t qualify. It sucks!! Wishing you positive vibes!
Ugh love I feel for you and all single moms out there. My mom became a single mom during my 8th grade year. It was the year of the Great Recession. It was traumatic.
May God bless you financially and provide you an amazing apartment.
Have faith in God.
My friend in San Diego just found an amazing studio apartment in the East Village for reasonable price. He didn’t have thousands saved up. Have hope! You know how I know it was a God thing? He is moving to manhattan and the previous tenant is moving here to San Diego 😅 she rented that nyc apt for 7 years! Another God thing is that my friend saw her bed for sale on FB marketplace. He recognized the bed from the online pics! He reached out to her wondering if she was leaving that specific apartment, she said yes, and then she said “I’ll leave you the bed for free.” Ummm WHAT! That’s all God!!!!!
he is so good! I love the "normal" people too, but I also learn so much from Ramit and the Money Guys. I like to have the balance of similar to me, aspirational, and professional set ups!
Around here, pets add to renting complications. Depending upon how you are communicating, as move day looms maybe suggest that Baby Daddy get a cat for at his new place. While there may or may not be tension in the apartment, there is some one rather than a silent, empty apartment.
