Ikebana master Miyamoto Riki was born in Tokyo in 1976. He began learning ikebana at the age of two under the tutelage of his grandmother, Hattori Riharu, the founder of the Koryu Toyokai, and his mother, Miyamoto Rimine, the second head of the family. He participated in ikebana exhibitions during his university years. He has participated in the World Ikebana Congress and the Japan Ikebana Art Exhibition. In 2009, he was appointed as the vice-head of the Koryu Toyokai. Following this, she was invited to participate in the "Jenadriyah Festival" held in Tunisia and Saudi Arabia, and the "Heart of Japan" International Festival hosted by the Moscow Tchaikovsky Memorial Conservatory, where she also performed a flower arrangement demonstration in Moscow, Russia. She received a Special Jury Prize at the All Japan Flower Arrangement Competition. She is a full member of the Flower Arrangement Art Association and an international member of the Flower Arrangement Association.
