I've got a good tip. Set sequencer BPM to a ridiculously low number. On the sequencer, record drums with finger drumming with quantize off (get weird with it). Don't worry about the grid at all...you are just using it like a tape recorder. Resample sequence and then chop that printed new sample to make a loop. Now you got a cool beat with feel without worrying about trying to get it right in the sequencer. Can do this with melodic samples or whatever floats your boat. It can also be as long as you want as long as tempo is set slow enough to capture it all.

Thank you for the tips I personally been struggling with resampling on this device but this helped me a bit

I would love them to ad the ability to just resample a pad like on the sp 404mk2, currently my only gripe with this machine

yall so fast at hacking these devices there should be a Games Done Quick but for beatmakers

Dope video bruv.
Answered a lot of questions I had in my head all in video. Respect!

thx a lot

Thanks for this video. Super straightforward and helpful.

Nice Great Video!!!

Great video! I love the MPC Sample for its hands on approach and not overcomplicating the process. Yes its more steps, but fun is in the journey as they say :)

Let’s go! Haven’t messed with the resampling on here yet so thank you for this

Great vid, liked the idea of pitching the sample up and then back down again.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 thank you LowKey

Dope video, thanks 🙏

just what I needed, thanks!

Great vid and information, thanks man!

Great video man!👍

Yesssir 🔥🔥

Great tips

Dope video fam. There’s a bunch of vids out there but this one really goes into depth on the resampling.. something I was having alil trouble with on the sample. I still hope the make an easier workflow update where you can single pad resample w/o needing to use the sequencer to resample

Always killin it my G
