Beardless Ryan jumpscare

RIP Dr. Grant 🦖

I think the most realistic part of the franchise is how nobody gave up on monetizing the dinosaurs because obviously dinosaurs would make tons of money.

Never has a movie series limped along with such success.

Another fun fact: Producer Guy's dog goes, "bowwow bow... wow."

That meta joke with Ryan looking right at the camera knowingly when saying that talking to oneself is entertainment will always be hilarious

Seeing the subtle changes in the episodes over time is tight.

34:40 I know someone pointed it out in the original video, but "It's just a plane crash sir, this is an action movie. That's how planes get to the ground." is spot on ><

Jurassic Circus may be my favorite cutaway involving dinosaurs and clown noses in all off Pitch Meeting.

Ryan has really grown into these roles. When he first began the two characters were practically identical. Slowly he found each of their voices and now Producer Guy and Writer Guy are very distinct with their own personalities, tone, mannerisms and quirks.

The acting overall has significantly improved, even in the short time since he started his own channel. He used to be much more subdued and matter of fact, now there is energy and depth and fun in every episode.

Bravo, sir. Very well played.

The fact that screenwriter guy just refers to Quetzalcoatlus and Mosasaurus as “water dino” and “air dino” even though they’re a different group of reptiles entirely is accurate to how the real screenwriter would have pitched it

0:10  “If you were going to start a bioengineering company, Henry, what would you do? Would you make products to help mankind, to fight illness and disease? Dear me, no. That’s a terrible idea. A very poor use of new technology.”

Actual quote from John Hammond in Crichton's original novel.

Hammond goes on to describe at length how it's not profitable to use this technology for the betterment of mankind, and how entertainment is where the money is.

Book Hammond is actually a pretty unpleasant person. Nothing like the philanthropic doting grandfather from the film.

I love how the Dominion pitch meeting’s tight joke was “giving birth to yourself is tight!” Because every Ryan in the Ryanverse can relate

Watching this compilation made me realize that years of pitching movies and talking to each other have made screen writer guy and the producer guy go slightly insane. The mental and emotional toll has also altered their physical appearance. But, they do it for us, and I commend them for their enduring commitment

"Wasn't your ex-girlfriend a British woman named Zara?"

"I don't see why that matters."

"People are tired of scientifically inaccurate renditions of real dinosaurs. We decided on the only obvious solution to drum up renewed interest in our park."
"Scientifically accurate dinosaurs?"
"A new section dedicated to mammoths and saber-toothed tigers and giant ground sloths and whatever?"
"Ooh, yeah, or maybe gorgonopsid or archosaurs or tiktaalik?"
"Right, or an entire aquarium dedicated to Cambrian or even pre-cambrian sea life? It's already established that we can pretty much make up whatever we want by splicing chimeras, and we have the entire history of life to pull from!"
"And hey, at that point, there's no reason we need to stick to real animals. We could literally create a fantasy land portion of the park with unicorns and griffins and dragons!"
"Well, congratulations, Claire; you've got us excited for the future of this park! What have you got for us first?"
"Murdersaurus."
"... does that mean..."
"It's just so good at killing. The kids are going to love it!"

One of the absolute bangers from the Meetingverse
