Who remembers the insane Phonk meta from October 2022?:_laugh:

Monk reminds me of those funny uncles you meet in a family gathering and never see them again but not forgetting them as well.😂

Its kinda crazy how one card that is so op gets killed, just by increasing the elixier cost by 1

Monk deserves better, the community can bitch until he’s nerfed to nothing because he has a unique ability, but cant get mega knight nerfed to the ground is kinda crazy.

I'm actually enjoying monk. Reflect projectiles and therefore having a really bizarre win condition is kind of cool.

unless im misremembering, his ability cost 2 elixir originally, and they reworked it so monk went up to 5, and ability went down to 1

Phonk was absolutely hilarious, if you were just watching the game on yt

WE ALL LOVE THE BROKEN MONK AND HOW FUNNY HIS INTERACTIONS ARE

The monk is my favorite card, since the first time I played it, I loved its ability and how the card is, I agree with the changes you would make to the card like buffing its life, damage or the duration of the ability since it would revive the card a bit, I don't know if to break the meta but you know, great video, here's a new subscriber from Argentina!

Man hearing these Ender Lillies and Hollow Knight OST while watching Clash Royale retrospective about the Monk just feels so good. Very good choice of music by you. Great video, keep it up.

6:06 that's dark elixir

Because it’s monken time. That’s how he broke it.

7:25 I haven’t seen the full vid yet but monk was nothing compared to phoenix. Top decks were literally monk pump phoenix and mirror so it was just a game of who can get more phoenixs down 😅

I wish I could repent my problems like monk!

Your videos are awesome man. I used to work as a writer/researcher for a very large YouTube channel, I did all their videos for about 2 years. So I know how much time goes into just the research you’re doing for a video like this and it’s A LOT.

I always make sure to like every video👍

Yes improve the monk ability to reflect projectiles to 1 sec this will help monk

Beautiful video

I use a monk with RG and made it to champ, he feels strong ngl. I don’t think he’s bad in 2025, saying this bc some people say he’s bad. I do have him maxed out tho

Well, poor Monk got bonked into the depths of being too niche after being gutted by balances
Although it's still satisfying to bounce spells back, especially the fast ones

Love the witcher music❤
