The Algorithm Is WILD for Sending Me These MLM Videos!

I don’t know what I did to my algorithm, but apparently THIS is what it thinks I want to see. LOL!

Today we’re bouncing around the MLM world with videos from Arbonne, Orgyn, Trilivy, Scentsy, Oriflame, and a travel MLM because my feed has jokes!

But seriously, today we’ve got wellness claims, business opportunity nonsense, sketchy marketing, and plenty of moments that made me wonder how these videos ended up on my feed in the first place.

Grab a snack and your favorite Dr Pepper flavor and let’s talk about it!

26:44 why does this rep look like Kate McKinnon in a costume?? The “I’m so happy!” act really adds to it feeling like a sketch 😂

Do we know if the ingredients they list are even truthful ????

I’m dying over Arbonne’s “one time” $65 sign up fee followed by an annual $65 renewal fee 😹

Honest question, Stephanie (19:16), do you actually think calling people “average” is a good sales tactic? I’m staunchly antiMLM but even if I knew absolutely nothing about it, a sales pitch that involves telling me that I’m average is immediately one I’m declining. No, I don’t think I’m a super genius unicorn, you don’t need to blow sunshine up my a**, but really? You’re so average, Hun.

Man. My cousin gave me a drink powder to try since I was looking for one and it ended up being an MLM I was so upset

I can't lie - I love peptides. They have helped me a lot. BUT I hate the MLM model and would never take advice from someone in an MLM who doesn't even understand what they're selling themselves and the mark-up is ridiculous. And MLM is very predatory etc. But yea I think everyone should look into peptides. For me they're like taking vitamins and herbal supplements.

The lady with the pearl necklace is a Mormon, you can tell by the words of the hymn she’s singing.

28:20 I have had anxiety since at least 5. I have been medicated for about 7 years now. The medicine helps a little, but doesn't always fix it. Recently, my mood has been more stable and my anxiety less. What's different? I've been drinking more water.....

Even Dr Now doesn't put his patients on 800-1000 cals a day....

I hate when they say, "When people say they don't have time, it's just because they are too lazy to make time. Look at me, I'm busy, and I made time!" Yeah, well, some of us find saying we don't have time is less harsh than saying, "We don't want to make time to scam our family and friends." And, also, having free time on the side is not a bad thing. I'm pretty busy between working and running for office and other activities. Trust me, I do have the ability to also make free time for myself, but I guard it quite well because it's important for me to unwind and relax!

stephany can go somewhere if she calls people average, no one is average.

Think of it as the algorithm helping you by sending you content to work on?

2:52 her GLP, ABC, DVD, VHS….

What a collection 😂. I think your algorithm might hate you but I had a good chuckle.

Algorithms have a hard time telling the difference between pro-topic and anti-topic content; it’s all just “topic” to them. So you interacting with anti-MLM content is probably what got you this feed.
