First 3 minutes of the game you hear Deions name mentioned a zillion times. That’s how you know how good he was

What a time to be alive.. 1994! OJ, World Cup in the US, peak NFL. Great music and TV.. What else could you ask for??

I never seen a first quarter blitz like the 9ers had. 3 possessions, 3 TO’s which led to 3 SF’s. That was an early grave that’s tough to get out of.

This is one of my favorite games of all time, I remember watching it with my brothers and my cousins and my uncles that some passed away recently, so every time I think about this game I think about them.

Great memories for a 51 yr old guy hearing Pat and John call a 49ers/Cowboys NFC championship game.
That 838k dollar bonus for winning the game was a beauty for Jackson.
80's and 90's NFL was great for me as a fan... and many others.

Back when football was football, you didn't celebrate on every play

I was a teen in those days. As a diehard 49ers fan in the Dallas area this was one of the greatest days of my childhood.

1994, there were 21 pro--bowlers between these two teams in this game; 10 Niners and 11 Cowboys.
11 future Hall of Famers between these two teams; and 10 in this game.
This game is the mother of all gathering of football talents in one place.
After this NFC Championship game, the SB between the Niners and Chargers was a huge let down.

The San Francisco 49ers are why the NFL implemented the salary cap. Eddie DeBartolo Jr is the greatest owner in NFL history. He'd spend more on the 49ers backup players than most teams would on their starters, the league had to curtail this so they introduced the cap in 1994. The last season the greatest dynasty the league has ever known, the San Francisco 49ers reigned as Super Bowl Champions.

The Cowboys' first playoff loss since the 1991 NFC Divisional Playoff.

Many dont know this but a young 4 years old Tom Brady was present at this game. He was so close to the field. Deep in his heart he is still a 49ers fan.
