I’ve been on a guitar lesson YouTube binge across many creators and your videos stand out. You’re a great teacher.

Freaking awesome thanks 😊.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your videos! You are really helping the guitar come together for me.

Great stuff.

This is so easy to digest, Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom 👍🏻

For where I am with guitar, let's call it "Advanced Beginner" your videos are fantastic. Your delivery and how you put tabs and chord diagrams on screen is perfect. Thank you.

Brilliantly explained

Just started watching this from another clip of yours…. I have been stuck on what to go for a week… now I know what to practice for the coming months….thank you for your time… really appreciate your work

I also thought this way. I also used the same mindset in understanding the frets when there was no youtube.

Excellent video!

Love this!

Thank you elite knowledge!!! Love the vids sir very helpful

I’ve always though CAGED could be reduced to ACE since the C and D are the same shape and the G and A are the same shape ( this is clear as you go up the neck)

nice 29:45

muito bom

Good lesson. It’s funny, i’ve had a super basic understanding of the Caged system but never actually took the time to learn it. But when i saw the thumbnail for this video, i looked at the diagram and went “…huh.” without even opening the video i grabbed my guitar and played through the caged system in F and then A all up and down the neck lol. Just by starting with that diagram. Really helped me understand it immediately.

My question is, though, why are you starting with F to showcase all the chords? It seems like a strange choice considering it’s not one of the CAGED chords. I know you started the video with an E major, moving it up a half step to get F, but you just kind of said “here’s the E. But how do i get to the F?” and then went on with it. I think a lot of guitar players might get stuck there, worried about the answer to the question, “why the F?”

(Unintentional, but that’s a great double entendre in the last sentence)

Are you the famous Paul kosoffs son 😊

Hey Eli i stumbled on to your videos a few days ago and your playing is wonderful. Your chordal work and chord melody is mesmerising to me. Do you do zoom lessons at all?

Am I missing something? The diagram of an open C at 2:13 - that's a typo, right?  Or possibly a C from an alternative reality?  And, oh yeah, thanks for sharing.

Je préfère apprendre les triades. ça me semble plus pertinent pour apprendre correctement la constitution des accords et mieux comprendre le manche. C'est plus de travail mais plus d'efficacité aussi.
