BO1 Campaign: Awesome
BO2 Campaign: Brilliant
BO3 Campaign: .....Just....WTF?

Hudson : "Where ?"
Mason : Cuba
Hudson : 🕶

"Step eight, Reznov - Freedom!"

"For you Mason not for me"

Saddest part in the game

It's still amazing how clever they put this story together.

That weird moment when a CoD game actually has an interesting story and a good plot twist.

3:30 The way he delivers this line is so raw and brutal.
Great voice acting from Sam Worthington.

"Tell me...What is left to believe in, when you are betrayed by your own?"

That quote is so true it hurts

this is me in math class....

“He is unusual , atypical , few men possess such will.” What a statement and it is very true Mason is one of the most special and resilient protagonists I have ever seen

i fucking miss when cod campaigns were good as hell with characters that you actually cared about

"I know you! You're not a traitor!"
Knocks out with one punch

6:34 LOVE how Hudson’s voice goes raspier and deeper all at once when revealing the truth to Mason. Ed Harris really sells the prospect of a CIA agent who understands time is of the essence while also wanting to save his friend Mason. Black Ops was a psychological game first, the only one of its kind.  Legendary

I love that this mission is literally Mason having a mental breakdown

"proceed... to... target!"

"Oswald... Compromised!!!!"

Instant chills

3:37 Chilling when you finally realize that Mason was most likely working with Oswald as sleeper agents to kill JFK which is why he says that Oswald has been compromised. Most likely Alex was the second shooter but Oswald was the one who got caught. And the reason why Alex didn’t even know he did it was because Hudson said that for a small period of time Mason went dark. So probably during that time his programming kicked in and he was like a machine following it’s orders without question

Hudson was so much better in BO1

Edit 2 years later: Well shit, a 5k liked comment that I literally don't even remember writing, but still agree with anyways.

I remember it’s the Rusalka.
Where?
Cuba.
dramatic music plays and Hudson put on sunglasses
best scene ever

The voice acting is superb.  You can really feel the confusion and the pain in Mason's voice.  It really just makes the game so much better.

"Proceed...To...Target"
"Oswald....Comprised!"

Mason Killed JFK

This is even proven (kinda), in the final mission

Mason: "You tried to make me kill my own president!"
Dragovich: "Tried?!"

So yeah, R.i.P JFK

This is when COD was good not because it was set in the past, not because you weren't a cyborg, it was because they actually gave a shit about they're games
