I love the idea that they're about to inject this guy with half a gallon of an experimental serum and cook him in an oven with the goal of creating a super-human and they're like "we better hit him with penicillin first."

@wildpurple005 4 months ago (edited)

“The serum will be injected into the subject’s major muscle groups, except the legs so every day becomes leg day”

@kenhunnicutt8536 10 months ago

Tanning booths require eye protection, but they be like, Na, we're good. Let him go blind. The super serum will heal him...we hope.

Moral of this story: You can be the most courageous, noble, intelligent guy in the world, doesn't matter. if you want to be a winner and get the girl, you need steroids.

@Spiketrooper 7 months ago

The same lesson Tony taught Peter: If you're nothing without the suit, you don't deserve to have it.

Steve was everything he was without the serum. Brave, courageous, fearless despite the odds. The Serum simply gave him the strength to act on who he already was.

Even his trousers grew......

He from 5.2 ft skinny boy to 6.2 ft muscle men 😂😂

Joe Johnston and the writers did a great job with this film. Example: nice move having Steve CHOOSE to be courageous. "I can do this!" - instead of him just being injected and bingo, it works.

Captain America has been my favorite hero since I was a kid. I'm 53 now

If they'd turned it off when he started screaming he would've come out with like one big arm and one tiny one

The only thing they should have included in this was his hand to hand and martial arts training

Steve: “You’re kidding me...”
Erskine: “Tell me about it.”

He does the same facial expressions as Edward Norton as the hulk when getting injected only no green eyes

She knew instantly that everything grew 😂😂😂

I love this scene, especially the courage and persistence Steve displays when they try to shut it down. My only problem is half the circuits blowing when the procedure culminates. A bit passé and formulaic. Do ANY of these scientific geniuses in movies know how to wire a circuit?

@Phil-s4u 5 months ago

Apparently thr light is so bright the every scientist needs protection except for the one that looks directly into it...oh and all the people watching.....
