Just vanquished the Pad of Death thanks to your video. Thank you.

Clear concise instruction, I followed them and now my 35 is back to life

Really nice example of "no thunk" at the beginning and "thunk" at the end.

Thank you for this great video on replacing the POD on a Yashica Electro 35. I was able to successfully replace the POD on a Yashica Electro 35 G. I used a tiny bit of leather cut from the original case.

Thank you for this. I was able to repair mine last night, largely because of this video. Appreciate the time and detail. Thanks!

thanks for the video! you brought my Electro 35 back to life :)
there was basically nothing left of my pad, probably because mine is one of the very early 1966 models

Hi, today my new Yashica Electro 35 GS arrived from your store. The Camera looks great. Now i can´t wait to shoot my first film with this super looking piece of Japanese electro/mechanical artwork. Thanks and Cheers, Achim

@Japan Vintage Camera

This cameras often have a problem called "lens-wobble".
This means the lens feels kind of loose, but in most cases it does not affect the pictures you make with the camera.
Is there a chance to see a video from you, how to repair this "lens-wobble"?

Thank you Sir! It's alive again!!

Thank you verry much! You helped me save my camera.

Thanks -- so helpful, as always.

Thanks, i finally replaced this gloopy thing and now the "thunk" is alive 😜
Since now i had to hold down the shutter button to shoot at the right speeds, it worked but you have to change the habit and always think to hold down the shutter button, not really convenient.

Best regards

Ben

Hi, there is two red positive wire on the battery chamber. One connected on the battery check board, i couldn't figure out where the other one goes.

Very good!👍👍👍👍

Hi! I need to remove the top of a Yashica 72E. How do you remove de ASA dial? Thanks!

I just can't remove the film winder lever? im using a toll that I used for other cameras before, but it seems stuck. Any tips to solve it? Thank you

Mine is the first gen version. It only functions in bulb mode regardless of what setting I put it at. Is that the POD symptom?

Hi there! Just got a 35 GS and it does not make the thump when the advance lever is pressed... Gonna try this put but do you think 2mm thick neoprene will work as a POD replacement? Cheers from Sweden

If the meter light isn’t lighting up with a new battery and the images exposing over each other, do you think the problem is with pad of death?

Do you have a video on the frame counter on the Electro 235 GSN. The counter on mine seems to be stuck.
