John Stryker Meyer Breaks 20-Year Silence on Vietnam's Secret War

Nothing Left Unsaid

After midnight in the Laotian jungle, an enemy soldier touched John Stryker Meyer’s boot and walked away, a moment that captures the razor thin margin between life and death in America’s Secret War. A former Green Beret team leader with MACV SOG, John breaks a 20 year silence to speak about faith under fire, brotherhood, loss, and the sacred duty to honor the men who never came home.

ABOUT THE GUEST
John Stryker "Tilt" Meyer is a Green Beret veteran who served with MAC-V SOG during the Vietnam War, running classified cross-border recon missions from 1968-1969. Please listen to my heart when I say this. John is my best friend from Trenton Central High School in New Jersey. We are both Vietnam Veterans and I was just thinking about him yesterday. Many years ago, we used to be Facebook friends. In 2013, my account was hacked and I deleted my account. I'm sitting here talking to a friend about John, and I tell them I am going to Google and ask where John is. Then I see this channel. My God! I am so happy. It's 11/11/25, Veterans Day here in the Philippines and I learned that my best friend from high school and another Vietnam Veteran is alive. I just can't hold back my tears of joy! John please reach out to me brother. This is James C from TCHS Class of 1964. Welcome Home brother!

It's wonderful to see Meyer in such great shape and mental strong and lucid. I was MAC-V and saw him multiple times over 50 years ago. he was a legend mostly for surviving so long and he was a compassionate man.

Hopefully this amazing American hero will live on forever in the memory of future citizens. Never let his and other macvsog members be remembered in perpetuity.

I wonder if this guy knew my uncle Earl “Man” Lee? He was a Green Beret in that same time frame that went on missions just like him in Cambodia and Laos. He did things I won’t mention. It took me decades to get him to talk about it.

Have you heard about the gun store robberies of gun in Southern California they are crashing the store with Ryder trucks and they were able to steal nearly a hundred assault rifles pistols and 5 individuals perpetrators less than 7 minutes it was incredibly fast and someone might steal dozen weapons but the more you are caught with something is pointing towards something big occurring possibly a large Venues are going to require clearing operations in the surrounding area.

Have to downvote your beautiful story that's what happens when greedy assholes think that's a proper place for ads Its a shame that you try to financially capitalize on others story.
