Rich Fools vs. Poor Brilliants: Who Wins?
Millionaires with zero intelligence versus geniuses in abject poverty. A thousand years of evolution in WorldBox to answer a single question: can money buy victory?
I divided the map in half. On the left, I created a kingdom that has everything: six distinct biomes, gold, silver, mithril, adamantine, livestock to eat, a lake with fish, and even pets like dogs and cats. The catch is that its inhabitants are born with the "stupid" trait and 999 fewer intelligence points.
On the right, I did the exact opposite: an arid desert, a few cacti, a single metal mine, two alpacas, and a wall of lava separating them from water. But its inhabitants are geniuses, with 999 extra intelligence points.
A thousand years later, one of the two kingdoms was building skyscrapers and writing economics textbooks. The other was still stuck in the Middle Ages, counting gold coins. And when I tore down the wall that separated them, the war began.
