no matter what anyone else on youtube says, I always trust Mark's opinion over all else

You have more common sense than most!  Thanks for sharing.

The true method of accuracy is trial and error in reloading and trigger time. When you find something that works stick with it forget all the hype about you "need to do this and that". Biggest issue with accuracy is the person pulling the trigger that is the biggest and worst variable of all.  Great video as always mark 👍🏼

Being able to tell a difference in recoil between a fire-formed case and a full length case reminds me of hearing that a Formula 1 driver is able to tell what weight of differential fluid is being used.

Tons of practice and immense experience here.

Great video ! I've tried almost all of the above on my .308 only to discover that I spent a bunch of money on many things I didn't need. Moral of the story: Reloading equipment is like fishing lures; most of them catch more people than fish.

And that Ladies and Gentlemen this is the most comprehensive and honest review of case length sizing
you will ever hear.  Thank you so much for what the two of you do for the shooting community!
You are about the most talented and educated teacher I have found in this business.
Thank you so much and I hope you'll keep up the great work.

For a long time I only necksized my brass.
Repeating sometimes was a bit a pita, because the rounds wouldn´t chamber easily or pulling them out was a bit heavy.
I talked about that with an old reloader in our club, and he said: "Just do a full size and be done with it."
And that was it, so easy, that I didn´t come to that conclusion.
Now I´m full sizing just a bit more than full headspace.
Precision is as good as before, and my rifle runs flawlessly.

Well said mate. Agree with everything you said. Club members ask me the same question "full or neck size" I tell them the same as you. "do what ever what works best for you" People try to over complicate reloading. It's actually pretty simple if you keep everything simple. Great channel, great videos look forward to each one.

Great video! I started with the Lee Classic that used a hammer back in the 70's. I have evolved and there is an art to know what to leave in and what to leave out. Funny thing is in the 70's I had the 222 Remington in a model 788. Shot more woodchucks than I would like to admit. Never a dull moment when you are into hand loading/gun building. Before this video I enjoyed the recoil management video you made. Your videos are the best on You tube.

Thanks Mark. That was extremely helpful.

Top video guys !

Very interesting, great video!

Great video as always.

Great video, very informative. 👍

This debate is flourishing and it is great to hear someone not devoted to one practice over the other.
But rather, Mark just tells it like it is - and encourages that we stay focused on the big picture.  Thanks!

great vid.

You should run for President.  You took a great question and answered yes and no and I enjoyed it.  Good vid

Mark and Sam, thanks for this video. Was just thinking the other day that i wish you would do some videos on reloading. Excellent advice here, please do some more videos on reloading. Cheers

I have also had good luck shooting bench rest both neck and full length. You are a master at your craft.

Nice work Mark!  Can always trust you not to be judgmental but open to select situations. Myself I have rifles that do better one way over the other. Appreciate you being research minded along with personal experiences included.
