Salamat ali khan was the most  intellectual and spirtual musician

Ustaad Salamat Ali has gone very deeply into Raag  Nandeshwari with surprisingly in a very slow tempo; and improvising the raag with proportionate moving to moderate tempo with SARGAMS leading dramatically amazing tempo to make this rare raag familiar.

47:42 So excited to find out that Ustad Salamat Khan admired Pandit Krishnarao Shankar Pandit as well. Two favourites.

Salamat ali khan is a legendary musician. He has Very deep knowledge of classical music. Both salamat ali khan and his son sharafat ali khan has sung raag Nandheeswari very nicely. Ghulam Abbas has played tabla very neatly, one by one stroke are coming out sharply. A tremendous performance of all. My special thanks to Raju Asokan who uploaded this gem.

Pandit Ravi Shankar's interpretation of this was called raag Jogeshwari. It is interesting that Khan saheb here fondly mentions pandit ji at 1:09:14 but for a different reason.
