I’ll be honest. This is hands down the best beginner-friendly tutorial I have come across

I have watched tutorials from Alex The Analyst and others, but most of them jump straight into features without explaining when to use them, why they matter, or the real world context behind them

What you have done differently is break things down in a way that actually makes sense for someone starting out. You didn’t just show the “how,” you explained the “when” and “why,” and that makes all the difference

Genuinely impressive work. Please keep creating content like this :)

Not only teaching but also I saw the generous human soul inside all of you guys !!

Best online tutorial I've ever watched!
The idea of two people in the back, who keep talking with each other and much of the teaching happening in the conversations can really prevent it from getting boring one bit!
Thanks for the great content!

I today gave up on a microsoft endorsed course introduction on Power BI. Terrible explanations and incredibly slow with constant interruptions. The above pragmatic video was pretty much faultless. So easy to follow, great examples and covered everything I need to get started as a beginner. Really well pitched. Thank you so much Pragmatic!

This is one of the best power BI tutorials I have attended and I finally understand this !

This video clarified everything I was confused about.

The difference between making someone feel good and making them feel genuinely seen was really well put. Complimenting someone’s patience or thoughtfulness instead of only their appearance can make a conversation feel much more meaningful.

This is so incredibly well made. I feel like I'm taking a paid for course. Not just watching a YouTube video.

For you guys to have this out here for free is just mind blowing. Thank you!

So much useful information. This is an Internet miracle, in my humble opinion. Thank you 🙏❤

Guys, this tutorial is really GOLD. I have seen endless PBI tutorials where they just navigate you through the basic commands and you end up with a 'final project' that is almost worthless. I was learning which buttons to click, but not why, poor learning experiences.

This way of teaching has a consistent structure, good pace, but most importantly, guides you with empathy through the reasons WHY you do an operation with the tool. Makes you understand that data visualization is not about building fancy charts but ALWAYS keeping in mind that everything you build (calculations, relationships, charts...) will help somebody to solve an analytical problem. That is the key concept one must master when building visualizations.

In a few days I'll be starting a new job which will heavily rely on reporting and dashboarding with PowerBI. I have professional experience with other data viz tools, and I feel this tutorial is really helping me approaching this challenge: not because I learned a ton of DAX formulas, but because now I feel that I have better awareness of the tool's main functionalities, how will they help me solve future problems (hint: the ones you see in this video represent a lot of the ones you will encounter), and where to look for in the tool interface.

Keep the good work!

Fantastically good! The time and care taken added depth and texture to the instruction. I also found a great deal of thought put into it. As one example the choice to go over an external get data by access a web resource or API instead of just grabbing an excel file like nearly every tutorial does. I also really appreciate the long form video as it allows me to stop when my study session is up and come right back where I left off. Great work! Very polished and exceptionally helpful.
