Playable Silver? Yeah that's not real.

Janitor who has only played Secret Rings sees second Sonic game: it’s just like Secret Rings

looking forward to Penny's apology video to the Sega Janitor in 2 years

The leak being so focused on fandom wish fulfillment gives it away. You look at the Frontiers leaks and it's like "theres a run around enemies move and some ghost girl idfk" and then there's sonic eclipse being like "THEY ADDED SILVER!!!!"

Love that the bosses in Frontiers are so massive and bombastic that the playtester just assumed they’d been dropped into the endgame

thumbnails like this are a lost art in vast space of youtube

Really disappointed in Penny for this one, that janitor is my cousin. He's a nice dude who just wanted to work at Sega in any capacity after playing his favorite game and the only game he has ever played, Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Nintendo Wii TM. After all that time he finally got a job as a janitor at his favorite company and Penny just went and mocked him. you don't know him, yes he DOES know the font of  Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Nintendo Wii TM, by heart so of course he would recognize it. Also he has anemia which if you plebeians didn't know can KILL YOU!!! Sit with that for a while and think next time before you mock someone like this. Btw he was reading this as I was typing and he did confirm that silver will be a playable character and he personally deletes the boost gameplay from your ps5 mid game and you cant use it again.

The thing is, I know it sounded fake at the time, but there's kind of a huge difference between "Sonic runs around in an open world there's a skill tree you can spin around in a circle and attack things and there's button mashy combat that's kinda boring" and "GUYS the new Sonic game has CITIES and like SEVEN PLAYABLE CHARACTERS and the SPINDASH IS BACK and the JANITOR SAID THE GAME'S LOGO LOOKS LIKE SECRET RINGS" like. Both sound pretty far fetched but one of these feels like it's extrapolating a lot. We at least got an idea of what the game flow of Frontiers was like.

I love the way the Babble animation works when Penny laughs. It's simple, just the way it works, but it looks so great.

song being talked abt in the beginning is Lazy Eye by Silversun Pickups btw :)

wonderful thumbnail genuinely

PENNY IN THE NEW GOOD KID OMG!!

It is funny cause if you describe Sonic Unleashed like a leak it sounds bullshit.

"Sonic turns into a werewolf after eggman drains the chaos emeralds and breaks the earth into pieces. Sonic has to team up with a fairy with amnesia who turns out to be god to fix the planet and the emeralds before an evel god made of smoke ends the world. The level I played was set in Greece."

"Feels very adventure like" reminds me of when reporters said Transformers Rise of the Beast felt "Very G1". Sure buddy, and what does that MEAN exactly?

ah yes the inconspicuous janitor

love how the guy in the thumbnail looks kinda like jason griffith

yippieeeeee something to watch to make me not bored
