Why did the temple veil tear when Jesus died? Bible study on Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, Luke 23:45 and Hebrews 10:19–20: what the curtain was saying.

The Gospels say the curtain of the temple in Jerusalem was torn in two, from top to bottom, when Jesus died. None of them says who tore it. This Christian Bible study follows the text itself: what the curtain guarded (Exodus 26, Leviticus 16), what the Holy Spirit says about it in Hebrews 9:8, how Matthew, Mark and Luke tell the moment differently, and what Hebrews 10:19–22 says about the new and living way into God's presence.

Hebrews never mentions the tearing itself, so connecting the two is a reading, not a quotation. The video says so plainly and shows where the text stops and the interpretation begins.
