Charlie Parker acquired a job washing dishes at the club where Art Tatum was playing for a short while, just so he could hear him play.

The genealogy of ragtime music: the beginning of jazz. A pianist who cannot be answered by experts. Was it passed on to someone like Oscar Peterson?
Truly this is a great album, and should not be confined to those who only follow jazz,
but should have as much appeal to the classic students.
