I only colour in gel pens so was excited by this video! I noticed you can’t  glide with either of the larger lens at all as you have to push to release the ink. I find that difficult because if you miss a spot and have to go over the same area it lifts the ink and goes all scratchy which is annoying. I find when it dries and I have gaps I sort of dot the pen on to fix it rather than add a second layer. Which is a shame because the smaller languo you can layer them. The languo definitely feels nicer to hold but I find the Guangna easier to use! Speaking of languo as well, glad you got the p650’s because the p600’s were scratchy and awful!! Anyway sorry for the ramble haha enjoy your pens 😊😊

Just on the comment you made about shaking, I just wanted to say the reason it says to shake is because acrylic paint separates, even in a pen. Some brands and colors will separate more than others. But not shaking can lead to less opaque ink, multiple colors or off colors coming out of the pen, or sometimes it can end up being too runny if it gets too thick at the back or not coming out at all if it gets too thick near the base of the pen. Usually though if the pen says to shake it then it will have a roller ball or ball baring in the pen like nail polish does to help mix it. If it says to shake and doesn’t have this it is almost pointless, because with it being sealed inside the paint isn’t going to move hardly when you shake it unless it’s basically liquid, which these obviously aren’t. I agree it doesn’t really seem like these need to be shaken, or at the very least won’t be able to be shaken since they have no ball inside to move the paint around, I just wanted to explain why it says to shake on the instructions. It’s likely they will separate if they sit for a long time not getting used or rotated. If you do find you need to shake them it can’t, you can find little mini paint shakers on amazon that vibrate to shake the paint that a lot of people use for their paint markers.

I got both sets as well and love them both. There's definitely a learning curb to get used to them but once you do they're amazing. Didn't realise the Gangna were meant to ne stored tip up so thank you for that. The pressure you put on the ball really does control the flow of ink ❤

Using languos in the Disney mystery books is what I have been doing in the afternoons that i'm free. I'm not having the brain capacity to open up any other book where I have to pick my own palettes.
Right now I actually prefer the languo 0.6mm compared to their 1mm, i've already ordered another set of the 0.6.  I may be trying the guanga later. thank you.

I chose the GuangNa in the end because I got them sets cheaper on T-mu (and also because they carry more ink than the new clicky-click Languos). But I'll probs order the Languo brush markers next. The sepearte sets tho, so I can choose which colors I need. They also come in color order which comes in very handy. Can't wait to try them all out.

The languo pens has another type that I believe is dual tone in the 6pens size and they are pretty and they also have amazing glitter type pens

These are the new and improved Languo acrylic 1.0mm pens. There are colors in the older set that are not in the newer set. That’s probably where you’re missing numbers are. They changed them because you had to push down on the first ones like the Guangna and everyone was complaining of hand fatigue. Do you think the Guangna would cause it too? And the ink in the 0.6 and the 1.0 in the Languo is not the same, the 0.6 is not acrylic. It is water soluble. Thanks for the comparison. I have to open my Guangna skintone sets to try.

I have all the sets and agree with you Lily GuagNa are definitely my favourite. I bought them because it said high gloss and they are definitely not high gloss so that ticked me off but they’re great gel pens.

Really interesting to see these so close up.  I have a small pack of light colours with tiny nibs that just didn't work well at all.  I wanted to order some better ones, but when I look on Temu, it's just a sea of different pens, and I don't have a clue which to order.  I do now, thanks, Lily.  Gonna order some 🎨😊

Thanks for comparing the two brands. I have the pastel/macaron set of the GuangNa pens and they are ok. I don’t prefer them for larger spaces. Some haven’t worked very well. Have fun! xoxo Joan

I can't tell you how helpful this is. Ive recently bought: Shuttle Art acrylic markers, Ohuhu acrylic markers, JusArt acrylic markers and yesterday Arrtx acrylic markers. Yes my hands do shake a tiny bit BUT I am so annoyed that it is SO hard to achieve a fine line with any of the brush tip pens. I ask myself is it me? Other people manage to achieve beautiful art why can't I? So I've come to the conclusion that I just need fine tips - always. I had such high hopes for the Arrtx ones that's another £40 down the drain !!

However I do have the Guango pens that you swatched here, I only ordered the blue green and orange packs but I think now I'll just get the rest. If there is anyone reading this that CAN easily achieve a fine line with any of the brush tips please please let me know how you do it! And thank you again for this video xxx

I got the 252 set of languo gel pens. I just had to have them. Now I just need to find the right colouring book to play with them.

I have had the Guangna 0.1 set for a while now and I have a technique I use where I press down to get some ink to flood out and then glide to spread. Since they are thicker it works well when you want to push/glide some ink into a small space. I think I would like the smaller tip Languo's, one for the fact that you can get details and also because I am pretty sure the colours aren't identical, so it would flesh out the colours a bit and the more colours the better. I do have a full set of Gellyroll's so I should shut up and not buy anymore but well you know how it is. All my Guangna's seem to dry down matte, and these really work amazingly in those Japanese colour by number books. Not sure who enabled the Amazon Japan habit I am forming but I hatelove them lol

I love the 1mm languo pens. I was debating on getting the GuangNa 168 gel pens? Are they worth it.
