In this video reaction, I analyze several of the contradictions and controversies that have shaped Arigameplays' public image in recent years.
We discuss how she criticized other women for getting plastic surgery, using autotune, showing cleavage, or running explicit content websites, and how, over time, she ended up engaging in many of the same things she previously criticized.
We also examine her media relationship with Juan Guarnizo, the impact some controversies had on both of their careers, her connection with Akim, the rumors surrounding Rivers, and how she defended Coscu.
More than just dwelling on gossip, the idea is to analyze how a creator's discourse changes when her online presence also shifts, and why so many people feel that Arigameplays ended up contradicting some of what she previously stood for.
