I heard that a new model of the dry ice cleaning machine I previously introduced has been released, so I went to check it out.
Its biggest feature is its low price, but even though it's low, it's not affordable for individuals. However, it seems likely to become popular among restorers.
※About the misconception about dry ice cleaning
There is a misconception that dry ice cleaning contributes to global warming because it uses carbon dioxide (dry ice), a greenhouse gas. However, the dry ice used is made from carbon dioxide emitted as waste from factories and other sources.
Therefore, using dry ice cleaning does not increase carbon dioxide emissions.
The difference is whether the carbon dioxide is emitted directly from the factory or used for dry ice cleaning before being released.
An evaluation by the National Institute for Environmental Studies also found that dry ice cleaning is a "reduction technology" that is effective in reducing waste and by-products in the manufacturing process.
