They are not philips head screws, they are JIS, philips screwdriver will strip these heads.

Just came from Doodles channel thanks for sharing

The trick for replacing that fuel line or any wiring that goes through places you can't get to is this. Attach a wire or a string to the old fuel hose or wire before you remove it. Use that to pull the new hose or wire into position.

My dad bought me one back when I was 10 years of age. I am currently 61 right now living in southern Ontario Canada. At the age of 10 we used to chase the moose around on trails in the James Bay area in Northern Ontario. We had so much fun going to fishing creeks for speckled trout and lake trout as well as hunting for Partridge and Tarmigan. It was by far one of the best childhood any child could possibly want. My parents used to say get out of the house around 7 AM in the morning and don't come home until the sun went out. I thought I'd let you know that in northern Canada the sun often doesn't go down until 10 PM at night. So there were many hours riding that small CT 90 trail everywhere it was possible. My father eventually put an oversize rear sprocket on the bike to give us more low end to drag heavier weight around on the bike. One hell of a childhood! And yes, we all had rifles by the time we were 11 years of age. Ha ha ha.

I've owned a '75 K6 CT90 for many, many, many years.  Such a great bike for local travel.  Always turns heads and starts conversations.

lmaooo "that's not in a threatening way, it's in an......... ~educational way~" idk if i buy that

Doodle sent me.  i restored a 1969 Yamaha L5T.  It was so much fun.  Beautiful restoration.  Nimble bouncy light.  I could put it in a truck and go OHV riding.  The journey was great.

Old wire harnesses are inside

I saw you on "Doodle On  A Motorcycle"

My son has a '70 CT90 and I have a '23 CT125 --- we have great father-son weekend adventures.

Honda Super Cub (Series) over 110 million units sold globally since 1958. The Trail 90 is an off-road variant of the Super Cub architecture. Trail 125 and Dax 125 are still manufactured for North America and are still in the Super Cub architecture. Grom and Monkey too, though a bit of a departure.

oh SO down for this collab

Great job and glad you're keeping it! I have a '73 K4 I am resurrecting, great parts availability on these for a classic bike.

For some reason I love the sound of an ultrasonic cleaner

My wife's been riding the more modern versions of that bike for over 20 years now, first a Biz 100 and now a Wave 110. Down here we don't often find older bikes such as yours, so it's cool to see them running.  Now I'm curious about the high and low range, that's something that's not included in these more modern versions.  Thanks for sharing this "build"!

Nothing quite as fun as wrenching on old bikes

Just got the same type of bike excited to learn from you guys, very wholesome

Get a replacement or possibly a decent used stock aircleaner intake assembly.  They, unfortunately are expensive but it will improve the power and torque width.  These bikes do not run well with pod filters or just a shop rag over the carb mouth, you want clean air to the carb and the tuning effect of the tapered air intake body/filter.

Now you can consider swapping the engine with a Lifan 150cc replacement.

Well done good sir !

I too found you from Doodle’s page. I’m following now.👍🏼
