The Albufera Nature Reserve, also known as Parc natural de s’Albufera de Mallorca, is an area consisting primarily of marshland and waterways, located between the bustling town of Platja de Muro and Can Picafort in northeastern Mallorca.

Due to its rich flora and fauna, this area, formerly used for industrial purposes, was declared a nature reserve in 1988 and can be explored via three different routes of varying lengths.

There are observation points and viewing platforms, as well as numerous information panels about the local wildlife.

We hiked the longest route, approximately 11.5 km long, which roughly follows the boundaries of the park.
