What if Uncle Ben died at the Stark expo. It was already confirmed Peter was there with him, so what if he was killed just before Peter was saved by Tony n that's why he was alone.

Generational Refresh pull

I mean Peter Parker saying "please" and "thank you" fits the character perfectly. Like with Aunt May? She definitely told him growing up how important a good attitude and manners were

I still find it SO bad ass that they got batman as the villain of a Spider-Man movie like... 😭

License plate on the car on the ferry was SM2-0563 for Spider-Man #2 May 1963, Vulture's first appearance.

The even funnier part about Tony getting Peter there a day early is that Captain America and his group thought that they were being sneaky the whole time Tony start to go recruit somebody and get them there a day early so they wouldn’t be tired for the fight

Did the film makers intend it to be a 8 year time jump? Who knows. But it is now canon that Liz Allen drew that picture when she was 13 or 14.

38:36 the license plate actually says SM*2* 0563 which is a reference to the first appearance of the vulture

I always loved how this movie in full is Peter learning with great power comes great responsibility. Instead of a power that was thrusted upon him by a spider, a power that was gifted to him by Stark, and the responsibility of using that gift of the suit more wisely.

22:50 Just love that scene
Spidey is prolly one of the heroes known world-wide in real life, so that this worker just picks up the banana saying „no“ is hilarious 😂

24:17 that panel isn't Peter summoning an army of spiders, that's actually Spiders-Man, basically in Earth-11580 Peter ends up falling into a colony of radioactive spiders at Horizon Labs which end up devouring him but in the process the spiders become a singular hive-mind construct with the memories of Peter Parker thus masquerading as the guy they absorbed, it's why in the comic you see movement under the suit because of all the spiders moving around

I’m not gonna lie I thought this was gonna be on the deep dive

5 dollars says that handshake is something Ned remembers and will make him obsessed over Peter knowing it.

39:59 I will say this is kind of poetic because an Iron Man three a kid told Tony that he needed to build something and to use his own wit and will to get through what he needed to and I feel like because Tony is telling a kid that in Spider-Man homecoming and when Peter does it, it still leaves him in shock and all that a kid has a big influence on him overall.

15:55 This is by far one of my favorites details... BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU MEAN THATS CINDY?? Finding it out just gave befope that she will be introduced in the future as Silk, maybe even showing us that she found out Spidey's identity RIGHT AFTER getting bitten, leading to her now having no memories of him, but (like MJ and Ned seem to have) a lingering feeling she knew who Spider-Man was, aka, a classmates of hersle, but who, since she cannot remember him.

I truly hope they'll do something with her, ESPECIALLY sicne she has organic webs, like Peter is now getting, making all the live actions spider-man have appeared 3 times with Oragnic webs, and 3 times with web shooters. It would be a great twist if the spider actually survived to bite Cindy as a last action

18:12 I’m currently reading through The Other and this is actually a point made in that comic, MJ accuses Peter of “wanting to die” because he lets himself constantly run out of fluid and not ever create a meter for himself (amongst many other reasons)

@toastytoast77 2 months ago

Actually, the image used is Spiders-Man, from Spider-Geddon #3, an alternate version who is actually a horde of spiders that thinks, collectively that they're Peter Parker.
The "summon an army of spiders" question is a reference to Spider-Man pretending her could do that to a bank robber in Marvel Adventures Spider-man #57

24:31 no, he confirms he couldn’t FIND oscorp. we don’t know what extent he looked for oscorp. for all we know he looked at the one building where oscorp was in the raimi movies and determined it didn’t exist. this guy was 50 in 2002 so he definitely doesn’t know how the internet works in 2021.
