John, you have no idea just how much your honesty and bravery has impacted the world around you. I have a gay teenage cousin who has just emerged from a very dark and frightening place. Thanks to your example I was able to show him that life is, indeed, worth living and that there are possibilities and alternatives. THANK YOU!

I bought the book. And now I want to hear him reading it.

I love his book i couldn't stop laughing i loved how open and honest he was. I also met him today and he signed my book which was awesome. He was so nice trying to sign as many books as he could.

From a fellow American, John Barrowman is a wonderful actor, and very brave and open as a person. I think it can be rare to find that, so I am glad he's got success in his acting career. I watch Torchwood and Doctor Who whenever possible. I didn't know he had theatre experience as well, so I'll have to look out for some of that. Keep up the great work, John!

I think that the chapter I found most touching, was chapter 9, where he talks about Midge. Anyone with me? I'm really sorry she's gone. She sounded like a great person. One of my fave chapters was the last one where he talks about his experiences in Torchwood. ^^ Love you John!!xxxx

The part he read out in this video is so cute. I can't wait to read the autobiography!

Kind of young for an autobiography...but still I like this actor and it sounds like a fun read.

I love John Barrowman.
AUGGGH. His book isn't available in Canada yet.
I'm so jealous of the British right now.

oh i cried at that story it's sort of what happened to my friend someone i was friends with not to close but when she was gone i really missed her and i still do

♥ You John

To all:  Don't stop at buying the first book - get the second "part" entitled "I Am What I Am" by John ; co-authored by Carole E. Barrowman.  It continues where Anything Goes leaves off.

I'm a huge fan of him. I love him as an actor and as a singer, but the more I know about him, the more I'm also loving the man he is !
I'm currently listening to his audiobook, and I love it ! So much fun and emotions.
I was so happy knowing he is a huge Star Wars fan as I am :p
