I thought I was a drummer. I played in the Kennedy Center when I was 17. All State band 4 years in a row. First chair all-county 4 years in a row. Jazz bands. Rock bands. You name it. I am humbled to say that I knew nothing about the possibilities of drumming. This guy makes my heart sing!

The reason we like reaction videos is because we already dig this a lot, but then we also get to see others being blown away by the same stuff.

and theres something thats gonna happen. every time. when u hear blinding lights, the original, u r gonna think of this cover. i actually like this one better. he listens to anything and he just makes it beter. hes a genius.

Easily one of the best musicians alive

The Godzilla Eminem drum Solo he did was epic too. Dude is a Unit

So I’ve watched the original video, and at least 30 different reaction videos multiple times, and you’re the first person to notice the super-fast cymbal-choke directly into another crash. Great spotting, and cool reaction.

“Best multitasker in the world” is such a funny but great way to put it 😂

Your description of him as the John Wick of drumming is probably the best description I've seen the man anywhere. Incredible technique and style, combined. Truly amazing.

El Estepario totally redefines multi-tasking.  Each hand and foot doing different things, different beats, all perfectly  coordinated.  So fast, so difficult, yet he makes it look effortless.

The thing he does with his right hand is called a «Gravitiy Blast». You use the rim of the drum as a pivot point when moving his hand up to get another hit. This way you get two hits from a movement you normally just get one. His Control is just out of this world!

remember that this same man who told us talent is bullshit, hard work pays off.

It’s called rim cupping…it’s the most difficult move and sound to make just in “regular” drumming.
He’s doing it in succession, not just once, doesn’t miss a beat and still does a crossover while switching up time at 1/16th.
Grohl, Portnoy, Carey, Peart would ALL be in awe…. Guaranteed.
Using two sticks over and under the cymbal is genius.
Have you ever seen anyone else do that?

El Estepario Siberiano isn't just an elite drummer; he's the pinnacle of the elite.  He has no rivals.

This guy is going to the history of YouTube

ESS is undoubtedly the best drummer that I've ever seen in my 76 years. INCREDIBLE  ! ! !

Keep in mind while he does all the dualist work with his right foot, and all the crazy stuff up top, he is still working his high hat with his left foot.

This mystical drummer has invented atleast a half-dozen new techniques that are in perfect sync of percussion patterns (I cannot call it drum patterns - because he is using sounds from hitting his sticks together at the same time while his feet are switching from single-beat to double-beat during fills.  We will have to give names to each of these new techniques because they are unknown.

What most people dont realize. His style of drumming and the Kit takes a lo and i mean ALOT of physical power. Must be draining AF. F.e. his single padel double paddel uses ofc 2 beaters. And each beater has its own spring. So with one foot he needs the power of twon feet. Meanwhile the other feet still is used either on the highhat or a different base/snare/bell(he uses lots of stuff on that feet). His legs and feets have to hurt like hell.

He's the man they send to out wicke John wicke
what a drummer really astounding , astounding talent .
