I don't understand why the owners of the farm would refuse a search. Surely helping is the right thing to do.

I’m one of those women carrying the secret I was stalked by Fred and rosemary west, I got away . I was 17 , a dark wet night in Cheltenham . I was walking home from a late stay at north Gloucester tech college. He curb crawled me in a light coloured Robin reliant three wheeler . I felt fear and evil,and had no idea why but I ran .

I think it’s so wrong the police won’t investigate any further and the owners of the farm house should be made to allow access. Surely the families of these victims have the right to know whats happened to their loved ones. Would definetly like to see a follow up of this series investigating the farm house and excavation of the fields.

This was sad but very interesting. I know that you can't bring Fred to justice but the families need to bury their dead. I hope that enquiries continue.

Great job in trying to solve the mystery of so many missing girls. Thanks to the cafe and the farmers who owned the two fields for allowing access. What a disgrace by the owners of the brick barn. Shame on them for not providing access.

I think it's a disgrace that the police and courts dismissed Janet leach. She clearly had plenty of information.

Imagine finding out that you could of eaten crops grown in the burial field or walked through them regularly.

Fred fitted speakers in his kitchen so that,if they were torturing someone in their cellar,he could nip upstairs and make a brew without missing a scream. You get some strange types.

Shameful behaviour of the owners of a rundown barn. The possibility that human remains of loved ones are there and they refuse to help is disgusting. I hope they never find themselves walking in the shoes of these families left behind wondering what happened to their loved ones.   If police can't investigate because of resources, then why not allow volunteers with guidance to do the digging.

I was in Much Marcle just the other day, I spent many a school holiday at my Grandparents just a stones throw away from Fingerpost and Letterbox fields. The West family still live in the village through his youngest brother Dougie.

That's Handsworth Park in Birmingham. Back in 1993 the park was easily accessible 24 hours as there were no high iron railings stopping anyone from entering the park. The wrought iron railings were added after a rejuvenation and restoration project was applied to the park between 2004 and 2006 after many years of neglect. The 63 acre park looks better now. But yes back in 1993 it is very possible that someone was murdered and buried in the park - there is a disused cemetery around St Mary's Church literally attached to the park near the pond, back in 1993 this cemetery was also very accessible through the park, Hamstead Road, Hinstock Road, Grove Lane and Holly Road (Holly Road being the shadiest port of entry). So it is very possible.

Are the owners of the farm worried about the property losing value? My thoughts are whether the remains are found or not the fact that the location of the farm is now known surely that would reduce its value anyway? If I were the owners I’d have to know one way or the other.
