I once asked a guy that question and he ghosted me immediately i felt relieved 😂😂 😌 that guy was always the first to react to my WhatsApp statuses ...I don't know in his mind he thought am enjoying it...yes ,we want attention from men but please have some boundaries with your time also ..we can't be doing everything with you and be everywhere with you ...have some purpose buana 😂..have a balance.

Hey, my favourite podcast.
At 41 years, it's really hard for me to find a partner. The more I know myself, the more I settle into just living and embracing life in general without letting society dictate who I am and who I am becoming the harder it gets to get into relationships. It's not even about having my own money, it's more becoming whole in myself. When I was younger I wanted to be saved, loved and chosen. Now I am doing the choosing, I know no one is coming to save me and I know no one can truly love me unconditionally as I used to think. My value as a human being is not attached to things outside of me. A man has to enrich my life and not with money. I have no anxiety, my life is calm and peaceful. So what is it you are adding to my life as a man.
 I have seen my friends become distance once a man comes into their life and I just let them be.

I really reasonate with the if a man is always wanting to be with me or always on his phone it’s questionable. Anytime some man is texting me 24/7 my first impression has always been “Don’t you have something to do?”. I just say Naah, with this one we’ll sleep hungry.

I feel like Lyd's  system recognizes her soulmates more in her platonic relationships  and because this need for connection is largely or has been largely fulfilled by her beautiful network of friendships, it feels safer to protect this ecosystem than to allow this "outsider" in a romantic partner to mess up that stability thats she builds so naturally and deeply values...
