Early gang! If you finish this video and want more KH vibes!!!
Riku's VA is currently playing bbs on twitch @ igobygraven
AND
He's doing a stream with Square Enix right now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsxosytFaSA

It's really come to the point that no matter the reading, Sora and Riku are extremely devoted to each other in a way that they haven't communicated to each other. Like, whether it's platonic or not, it's gotta be queerplatonic XD

MORE RIKU IS GAY DLC, WOOHOOOOOO!!!! Tennelle, I'm so happy you keep doing these. Thank you once again for connecting themes that were in plain sight but my mind couldn't connect, like the fact that 2.8 and its themes are still part of KH3's themes and narrative and should be considered together. It makes so much sense for KH3's prologue (2.8) to be connected with Riku's sacrifice towards the end.... I also didn't know about the existance of that short Riku novel and Peter Pan being connected to Queer culture. Thank you again for your job. Already excited for the little mermaid's parallels video!!!

This video made me happy. I'm scared that I won't live to see Soriku endgame, but knowing that one of the two's English voice actors is in good terms with this side of the fandom makes my heart full. It makes the series so much more meaningful and I'm glad his portrayal in KHIV will have us in his thoughts. No matter how it goes in canon.

SHOUT OUT TO MY FAVORITE FACTOID, SORA'S HAPPY THOUGHT!!!!!

The GUTTURAL ROAR I just released at the sight of this video…

Life is good when i get more of Rikus precious feelings for Sora, straight into my veeeinnnsss

It's these kinds of videos that make me feel glad to be alive. Thank you Tennelle <3

YES, this made my day, the Riku is Gay trilogy is now a quadrilogy! Great work as always opening my eyes to even more Soriku moments!
(Also you should totally do the analysis of the homoeroticism of Boat Ansem as like an April Fools video or something, that'd be hilarious XD)

This is my superbowl

glad i'm not the only one that thinks ansem's boat is super phallic

THE BEST SERIES ON YOUTUBE IS BACK

I forgot if this was brought up in a previous video of yours, or something I remember hearing about the music elsewhere, BUT- on the topic of soriku in kingdom hearts 1, the 'Always on my Mind' song is especially heartbreaking when applied to the context of the two. The leitmotif of always on my mind has been in every single game past kingdom hearts 1- which is especially prevalent going into the second game. Their moment closing the door together was so important it CHANGED THE THEME SONG, amd dearly beloved always has that motif in it.

I genuinley believe this motif is linked to Riku's character arc with sora, and accepting his feelings about him. In most of the games after where its been played, its incredibly somber, because although Riku is doing good by Sora and dedicating himself to him, theres still things he has yet to say. Kingdom hearts 3 is where this motif is slightly changed, because there are revelations in that game from Sora and Riku about their true feelings.

I genuinley think that if and when Soriku is endgame, this song/leitmotif will come back- because they are both always on eachothers minds <33

(sorry this is so sloppily worded, I hope my point got across!! Also YAYYY MORE RIKU IS GAY CONTENT, WE ARE FED TONIGHT BOYSS 🔥🔥 )

Gasp!!! Let’s go! The joy I felt seeing a new video for this!!!!

Fantastic analysis as usual! Love seeing you lay out all the connections here with Sora and Riku in KH1!

I still don't understand this series at all, but oh my goodness I loveeee these videos!!! They're so cool!!!

I think something really big in the fandom is people thinking their relationship in kh1 proves that they aren't gay, but in reality everyone's just seeing the very surface of the game. Excellent vid as always!

I really loved this analysis, and the fact that took the time to look over Riku's short story and give the nuances it explores about Riku's character in KH1 a proper exploration and understanding. As well as how his character has progressed since then, whilst acknowledging other story beats. I totally agree on your sentiment about the series direction from here and what is already there.

I can tell this series is made from a place of love ❤️, and I hope your able to feel at least a little better soon. :)

I usually ship sora x kairi x riku but i do think it's funny when people think there's 0 proof sora caring for riku and they think sora and riku are brothers lol

you don’t know loud I screamed when I saw that you continued my favourite YouTube saga! Are you in my walls because I literally just spoke about this like two or three days ago
