In this video I will show how to install the Malossi variator on a Honda navi.
The kit comes form ‪@Scooterswapshop‬ use my promo code to get a little off.
I will show step by step how to get this kit installed.

Video correction: I was able to use a12 point 38mm socket that is well worn. The clutch nut is a 39mm.

Great video!- Where did you source the variator nut torque specs? Do you have a link? I cannot find concrete specs anywhere.

@HoliCrapCaek 1 year ago

Good video but why didnt you demonstrate the screwdriver you used when torquing it and when you pulled the clutch to give the variator slack ?

Como se llama ese esprín que le pusiste ?

Nice one on catching yourself from using the fin to torque the nut. Would have been an instant regret moment. I hope the grove isn’t eating up the belt. Does the intake sound as loud in person as it does on the video?

Great video and very detailed. Unfortunately the only thing I'm concerned with is torqueing the clutch and variator and you didn't show exactly how you did that. Thanks for posting the video. I'll be following it when I do mine.

What tool you need to take off the kickstand ?

I’ve seen some comments in the FB groups on certain parts of the Malossi variator kit causing over heating issues? I just installed the whole kit. What should I not be using now?

Would this be the correct clutch bell model if I were to buy elsewhere cause everyone is sold out and I found this RDR CLUTCH BELL FOR 150cc - 232cc GY6
