Quotes from the interview:
My mother wasn't enthusiastic about marrying Gaidai; he was very ill. I'm a grandmother now, and I also want my granddaughter to marry a healthy, physically and psychologically normal man.
After the wedding, I didn't take Gaidai's last name because by then I already had roles in films. And then, it's unclear whether Gaidai is a man or a woman. People could confuse us. He was upset, but not offended.
Gaidai showed and explained everything to the actors personally. He knew what he wanted to see, and he achieved it. When he was writing scripts, I saw him crawling, rolling, timing things with a stopwatch—he acted everything out so well.

Interviews with other interesting guests:
Boris Efimov: Борис Ефимов (2007)
Roy Medvedev: Рой Медведев (2012)
