Amazing video; as an actual history student in my 4th year of study (I might write my dissertation on the ACW/WW2, but I'm not sure yet), so many of the things he said made me facepalm hard. You are very well informed, and it was very enjoyable to hear the real facts, not some moron with a huge bank account who so happens to like his version of history. It's crazy how many people when it comes to history talk completely out of their ass! You'd hope they would actually try and learn the right way, but alas. You can see it all in the comments of this video, so many morons who think they know what they're talking about when they actually have zero clue. Anyway! thanks for this

People like Dragonman, when talking about the Eastern Front, frame it as though the Soviets were wizards who were immune to the effects of winter. The 41 winter was the coldest winter in years; thousands of Soviet soldiers froze to death - same as the Germans.

I knew a guy called Jim R. ( he died in 2013) and he was a bit like Dragonman. He build a ww2 and napoleonic and Norman conquest fantasy world for himself and made all kind of fantasy stories about those. Well, I still miss Jim.
