Hey all, sorry about the quality of this episode. I had an incident with storing my video files... only the low quality versions got stored.

I spent a few days trying to recover it all, but to limited success... but I thought instead of just skipping the whole day it would be better to show you what happened, even if it doesn't look quite as good! The next episode will be back to normal!

Gotten addicted to watching your videos. I am a Moroccan myself and your videos inspire me to go and discover my own country.

I live in the north and few weeks ago i followed the route you took from Mdiq to Tetouan it was amazing (on a motorcycle), i am already planning the next adventure.

One thing these vids have taught me is that people will build things ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE. Spectacular scenery again, Eric! I'm like you, I like the mountains.

The Anti-Atlas Mountains are largely unknown to the rest of the world due to the neglect of this rugged region by the Moroccan state and government. This mountainous area is even more rugged than the High Atlas Mountains (Haouz region, near Marrakech). You should know that the road you passed, which you couldn't complete because of the valley separating the two paths, was built by the local inhabitants solely through their own personal efforts and physical strength, without any intervention from the authorities, the state, or road construction equipment. This construction took them many years, beginning after the country's independence in 1956. The Moroccan government has never intervened to pave it, or even to remove the stones and smooth the surface with road construction equipment, not even minimally. All you see in the Anti-Atlas Mountains are the individual efforts and personal initiatives of the rural inhabitants to break their isolation, and no one cares about them. They are poor and rely solely on animals like donkeys to carry the vegetables and food they buy from distant municipal markets, a five-hour walk back to their homes.  If you hadn't revealed this to us, we wouldn't have known about this rugged and charming mountainous region. I am Moroccan, and unfortunately, I don't know where this region is located.

really loving your videos, been watching since the departure from vancouver and i'm moroccan, when i caught up to your videos and found out you're in morocco i was surprised, welcome to morocco and i hope you enjoy it to the last mile. By the way many moroccans now understand english alongside french specially genz and teenagers. You can try to communicate with english also same as you did with the bike mechanic , i hope this helps and good luck

PS: IT is currently the month of ramadan now people are fasting and most of the shops coffees, restaurants even some mechanics tend to close during the day,  so you will find most of the shops closed that's why you had trouble finding the bikes mechanic.

The bottle in the squattoilet is to keep out nasty odors, but especially cockroaches.. sometimes the building hasn't been used for a few weeks or months.. then the sewage system dries out.

Your enthusiasm  for what you see and experience  is  so special. The real way to view  the world  around you. Safe travels.

Dude, I LOVED the live stream! It would be fun do do that more with you. Although you said you have a busy schedule. Keep it up man, You're a visionary. You make it VERY clear that the way you naturally operate is in a way that is very considerate of others. There is no other way to see it. Some motorcycle dorks are offended by you since they preach the narrative that you cant do what you're doing without TONS of experience, and you're like, nah.. I thought about it, came up with a plan, i got this.. (sure ill make little mistakes along the way) but i can definitely do this. You clearly are a very confident but humble and modest man. From the first time i saw you shredding on your MTB, to now. You've not changed. I cant wait to see what your next chapter is after this journey.
