Like manga's quirk could become stronger and enable him to do more complex stuff like, for example, in the second yr sports festival him and shinso fight, but due to his training he can say "your quirk doesn't work" and negate shinso's quirk making it a fist to fist fight instead.
Like his quirk evolved.
