4 years later and this vid still helping people btw

Summer Sale 2026, and this guide is still extremely helpful. Thank you, Mr., Alda.

Thanks for keeping me company tonight during my deliveries. I learned a lot.

Learning a lot about this game from your video, and I enjoy the easy listening and unhurried style you deliver!

I like to put a pair of those UAC20's on a King Crab.  With his 3 movement and jump jets, he gets in close at a decent pace.  And its funny to watch him shred things.

Great guide. Bought this game years ago and finally have the time to play. Been having a blast so far.

I regularly make head shots. You get all 3 'mech chassis parts in the salvage. Bring a Marauder along for the called shot bonus. Often get 2 or 3 head shots each mission.

Late 2026 and still helping.  Learning a lot.  Thank you

This was incredibly informative. I especially loved that it was voiced by Hawkeye Peirce. :)

Pleasant voice to listen to, really enjoyed this tutorial and helped me a lot since I'm post acquiring Argo and missions getting harder. Time to optimize mechs and play more tactical.

Thi makes me want this game even more

"this is my scout mech"

95 tons of bull shark assault mech," am I a joke to you?"

Lol😂

Love this video! You take the time to explain and give me as a newbie to the game all the starting insight needed ❤️
Wish you the best on The Battlefield Commander ⭐

Move after shooting is great for LRM  platforms. You get the shooting without moving bonus then are able to move to cover and increase your evasion chevrons for the rest of the round.

Exactly what I needed

CyclopsZ and marauder piloted by 2 vanguards(master tactician) and 2 archers piloted by 2 lancers(breaching shot) are my staple lance.  Archer pieces show up about twice as common as marauder in regular stores, that I usually fill out two in about the same amount of time as the other; and cyclopsZ usually the first full-mech-buy I make when the blackmarket becomes available.

This lance doesn’t just clear every mission in the game, it also can get every bonus objective as well; ones that often times require even greater response and mobility than what a full assault lance can give, even with their extra firepower.

I didn't know Alan Alda was interested in Battletech!

Thank you so much for this! I just got the game and it is super overwhelming.

Great overview of the game. Many thanks.

Thanks! I watched the whole thing. I bought the base game on sale last summer. I will start playing it sometime this spring.
