Volvo ex30 one of the most exciting cars of the year, very similar look to the new polestar but a lot cheaper. What is my Volvo EX30 Owner Review since Ive been driving it for the last 3 months? I Own Volvo cars before like the V40 Cross country but this is the first time we have invested in a Volvo car fully electric. Is it good enough? Yes but some issues are easy to find and can be annoying.

A tip I learned that is very helpful regarding the lacking of the trunk / kick is if you hold the button of the trunk, it will auto countdown for you to grab your things and automatically close 30 sec later..

All depends on that driver's experience in driving and his capabilities to drives professionally

The owner of the car can send an invite from the App to the second driver to have a separate login to the App. Create a separate Volvo ID and you can both be logged into the car at the same time.

you can adjust the steering wheel for reach and up and down so you can rest it on your lap. The lever is a knob at the centre bottom of the wheel. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for this video 🙏. I had this car down as my next car but the negatives you mentioned ruled it out for me. CarPlay not connecting, steering wheel buttons not alwaysworking, climate pre-conditioning not working. All essentials for me.

I love that interior!

Good review 😊 about the card and the phone charger spot. If you leave the card on the charger it’ll melt! Just enough to break it! The locking/unlock system is ridiculous, a saving grace would be a smartphone key system.

@eugenelawrence8517 1 year ago

The key also has a transponder same as the card. So you can hold the key against the door pillar as per the card.

This is funny how a guy who rides EUC bought this car. I must of bumped into this car about 100 times when looking to buy an EUC, because of the Begode Ex30. So to see an EUC guy buy this Volvo Ex30 is funny.

It looks like you have the Ultra specification, Single or Twin motor?
Any thoughts about S v T?

@crizcroz 1 year ago

I have never brought my card. If the key is unresponsive just touch on the handle on the driver side and it will open. It happens maybe 1 time out of 10.

Nice car! Hope the lady wife likes it :) Also Dashboard monkey is super cute lol Have a great day brother!

wow..I thought you got a Begode..bu then Volvo..did you hit the jackpot?

@cameronmurray3039 1 year ago

Great, very informative. I may have missed you say this in the vid but does the infotainment system support Apple CarPlay?

@STdezign101 1 year ago

The monkey should do the car review, honestly. Could you have any more distractions in front of you? Solid C- driving rating.

90% talking about himself.
10% talking about the car.
"queues for gas" that's where i closed the video

Should be, 100% electric !

Hey man I really liked the video, I disagree on the "environmental" stuff, a lot of different factors of EV production contribute to air pollution. But nonetheless, I feel like this car would be perfect for me, the flaws don't really bother me and for the price I feel like you're still getting a premium. Currently have a tesla model 3 but might strongly consider this car.

@vitalyromas6752 1 year ago

8:50 I totally agree with you. Saying that "EV pollute more than ICE" people do not consider (they just don't have numbers hence they follow emotional prejudices) how much the production of an ICE will pollute the env.
Average small ICE pollutes 200gr CO2 * 100 000km = 20 tons of CO2 for around average just 5 years. Without taking into account much more toxic particles in exhaust. Motor oil, average 5l per 10k km means ~50l of a very toxic liquids per 100k. km. Plus a lot of additional things like used particulate filters, lead-acid batteries etc.

On the other side - average EV battery weights ~500kg and contains less than 10kg of lithium. And this battery may survive its car. And the used EV batteries can now be fully recycled.

Talking about "dirty electricity" people often ignore fully how much the oil and gaz production pollutes the env.
EVs are obviously not perfect and not 100% env friendly, but they are much cleaner than the most modern ICE cars.

Good grief. One of the most annoying, irritating videos its ever been my misfortune to watch. I gave it 2 minutes & my ears & eyes were bleeding. Hideous.
